I use the premium version, but the<strong> free one is more than enough<\/strong>. Canva has many useful features, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Build-in dimensions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you don\u2019t want to waste time on googling dimensions for different social media platforms, ebooks, presentations, logos, and so on, Canva got you covered. You can either choose from initially set up dimensions or choose your own.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Build-in templates<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally, you don\u2019t have to create everything all by yourself. When you choose what you want to design, on the left side you will find prepared <strong>templates<\/strong>. You can adapt them to your liking or leave them as they are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Elements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Definitely my favorite feature. Elements are divided into <strong>sections<\/strong>. Here you can find:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Recently used<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All of the elements that you previously clicked on and used.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Featured<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Elements recommended by Canva, <strong>mainly based on what is currently going on<\/strong>. So, for example, around Christmas, there will be Christmas ornaments, on Valentines Day hearts, and so on. Please mark that you can edit colors on them, but not on everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Shapes<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Simple geometrical shapes: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>circle, <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>rectangle, <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>triangle, <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>hexagon,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Frames<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Choose one shape of the frame, drag a photo on it and Canva will automatically change its size to fit in the frame. You will find many options, e.g circle, laptop, ripped paper, phone, stamp, diamond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Stickers<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Simple animated pictures. Note that you cannot change the colors on stickers &#8211; still, it\u2019s a great feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"950\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/dotinum.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/sticker-canva.gif\" alt=\"sticker canva\" class=\"wp-image-1127\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Image created with &#8220;Featured&#8221; and &#8220;Stickers&#8221; sections<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Charts<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rather simple charts when you can input your own data. You can choose between:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>pie charts,\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>line charts,\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>bar charts,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>row charts,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>area charts,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>donut charts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Grids<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I use it mainly in blog posts when I talk about more than one topic in one paragraph. Choose your desired shape of grid, photos and you\u2019re ready to go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Gradients<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My love for gradients is a little worrying, but if you\u2019re like me, you will like this section. It provides you with various shapes, both abstract and regular geometric figures.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Music, Videos, Photos &#8211; other sections of Canva<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Canva also offers a collection of stock photos &#8211; both free and available only in the pro version. You can also enrich your project with a piece of music or video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Brand Kit<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"950\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/dotinum.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/canva-brand-kit.jpg\" alt=\"canva brand kit\" class=\"wp-image-1129\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dotinum.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/canva-brand-kit.jpg 950w, https:\/\/dotinum.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/canva-brand-kit-300x202.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dotinum.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/canva-brand-kit-768x517.jpg 768w, https:\/\/dotinum.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/canva-brand-kit-534x360.jpg 534w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 950px) 100vw, 950px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Canvas Brand Kit<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A good feature especially when you have <strong>more than one brand<\/strong> to care about &#8211; like me &#8211; but it\u2019s good even with one brand. Although it is rather meager, it is still useful. You can upload the <strong>brand logo<\/strong>, its <strong>color palette<\/strong>, and<strong> fonts<\/strong>. I know that you should have an identity manual, but I think it is easier to have crucial information in one place. Still, I hope that Brand Kit will be extended in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Content Planner<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another feature that is best when you have <strong>few communication channels<\/strong>. Choose your desired date, design, and where and when you want to publish it. It is an easy way to keep track of all the publications.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/icons8.com\"><strong>icons8<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/a> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is another tool that I frequently use, or at least, two of them. Icons8 has a <strong>variety of features<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/icons8.com\/vector-creator\/\">Vector Creator<\/a> <\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"950\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/dotinum.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/icons8-vector-creator.jpg\" alt=\"screenshot of icons8 vector creator\" class=\"wp-image-1125\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dotinum.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/icons8-vector-creator.jpg 950w, https:\/\/dotinum.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/icons8-vector-creator-300x202.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dotinum.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/icons8-vector-creator-768x517.jpg 768w, https:\/\/dotinum.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/icons8-vector-creator-534x360.jpg 534w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 950px) 100vw, 950px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Illustration with 3 diffrent styles<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When I don\u2019t have time to draw something for one of our brands, I reach out to this section. It offers<strong> few styles of illustration<\/strong> in few categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>People,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Animals,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plants,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Objects,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Decorative,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Symbols,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Backgrounds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can export your project to the <strong>png<\/strong> and <strong>svg format<\/strong> &#8211; but please note, that svg format is only available in the premium version. Still, it is a very good feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/icons8.com\/icons\"><strong>Icons<\/strong> <\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A second tool that I regularly use. Same as in Vector Creator, you can choose between icons in different styles. Here you will find different:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>shapes,\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>objects,\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>people,\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>places,\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>social media\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>or apps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/icons8.com\/creator\">Photo creator<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"950\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/dotinum.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/icons8-phot-creator.jpg\" alt=\"screenshot icons8 photo creator\" class=\"wp-image-1123\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dotinum.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/icons8-phot-creator.jpg 950w, https:\/\/dotinum.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/icons8-phot-creator-300x202.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dotinum.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/icons8-phot-creator-768x517.jpg 768w, https:\/\/dotinum.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/icons8-phot-creator-534x360.jpg 534w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 950px) 100vw, 950px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Photo with deleted background with diffrent photo as background &#8211; see how a few parts of a picture are cropped.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here, instead of using regular stock photos, you can <strong>create your own photos<\/strong>. Icons8 advertises this feature as \u201ccreating your realistic photos in minutes. Choose from thousands of models, objects, and backgrounds to perfectly tell any story.\u201d. Is it good tho? For me, no. In most cases created photos just look fake and not appealing. Sometimes I encounter problems with masks and missing parts of the image, especially with objects (see pic below). But maybe you will make better use of it?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/icons8.com\/photos\">Photos<\/a><\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bank of <strong>stock photos<\/strong> grouped by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>people,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ethnicity,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>age,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>gender,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>clothing,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">and many more. Good quality, many options to choose from but in most cases, you have to pay &#8211; although it is not much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/icons8.com\/music\"><strong>Music <\/strong><\/a><strong>and<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/icons8.com\/music\"><strong> <\/strong><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/icons8.com\/upscaler\"><strong>upscaler<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two last options of icons8: <a href=\"https:\/\/icons8.com\/music\">music<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/icons8.com\/upscaler\">upscaler<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Music tracks are grouped by&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>themes,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>genres,\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>moods.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It offers a <strong>free trial<\/strong>, <strong>paid subscription<\/strong>, or <strong>purchase of a single track<\/strong>. Upscaler upgrades the quality of the uploaded image. To put it simply, they are ready to use (with shadows, colors, background) designs of various things. You only have to upload your project (in .jpg or .png), save it, and check how it presents itself.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Personally, I use them frequently. <strong>Mockups are a great help in the process of designing<\/strong>. Thanks to them I can easily adjust my project &#8211; if something is too high, too low, too big, or in unsuitable colors.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Placeit is especially good when you don\u2019t have access to Adobe Photoshop. Why?
